I had a disappointing experience with the company that delivered my contact lenses (DPD). I had opted for next day delivery, but ended up waiting for my contacts for five days. On the first day, I wasn't home, so they left a calling card. I then went on their website to change the delivery day and even updated the delivery address and instructions for leaving the parcel if no one was home. However, they continued to attempt delivery at the same place, in the same way, and left calling cards again. Eventually, I had to personally go to their depot and pick up the contacts myself on the last day before my holiday. I'm perplexed by their lack of efficiency. If this is how they handle their job, I would prefer to switch to another shop.
